WHAT IS PERSONAL ACCIDENT?
Personal Accident insurance provides set Monetary Benefits which are paid to an Insured Person following an insured Injury.
The main purpose of Personal Accident insurance is to assist with any financial difficulties encountered by an Injured Person due solely to the injury suffered. Personal Accident insurance does not provide any cover for “pain and suffering “.
Personal Accident insurance differs from Liability insurance in that the Monetary Benefits are paid in the event of an accident resulting in Bodily Injury, regardless of any negligence.
The cover arranged is operative whilst participating, practising and training in conjunction with any NAKMAS endorsed activity, providing the member holds a valid NAKMAS individual licence/insurance slip. Cover extends to include travelling to and from any venue for these purposes.
