You have now arrived at the official website for the approved NAKMAS insurance schemes for members of the NAKMAS National Governing Body; the only martial arts body holding a United Kingdom and United States of America government approved Quality Kitemarks via the British Standards Institution (BSI).
This website is not a commercial website for martial arts insurances. This website forms part of the main NAKMAS official website and is an easy and quick reference for all NAKMAS licensed members and accredited clubs and groups.
This website offers a general overview of new and enhanced NAKMAS insurance schemes which take effect from the 01 September 2007.
Since 1992, the Royal & Sun Alliance have been the approved NAKMAS insurance provider. However, NAKMAS felt the need to offer a far greater degree of insurance protection for all of its members and allowed other insurers to enter into negotations with NAKMAS to ascertain whether it was viable to continue with the Royal & Sun Alliance or authorise another insurer to provide risk and protection for our members.
We are absolutely delighted, following months of negotiations, that certain underwriters at Lloyds have offered NAKMAS a comprehensive enhanced insurance package. Use this website to view what each licensed NAKMAS member is covered for (from the 01 September 2007) and what insurances are in force for clubs and groups which are accredited members of NAKMAS.
